Hi, George - Thanks for the interesting stories all these past years. I've always been curious about canister drum thrones. I don't recall ever seeing a story about them, anywhere. When you spot them so often under the rear-ends of so many great -mainly past- drummers in photos, you wonder why. Were they the best, most stable thrones back in those times? Would any of your fine writers and researchers be interested in writing something about them?
